Haircut, Im a dancer, strict ballet dress code?

I need a new haircut, I have long plain hair, I want to get bangs but I am concerned about dance

In ballet we have to have no loose hair

For competitions we need a side part with no loose hair either

Do you have any suggestions for a good practical style

i was in the same situation. strict dress code but wanted a haircut. I got side bangs that are a little longer so theyre easier to put up. It took me a while to figure out how to put my new haircut up into a new bun but after you figure out what you have to do its really easy. i just get a few clips to clip my bangs back, some hairspray and your good to go.

if you want bangs, go for it. but i will warn you that it is a hassle. you either have to gel them back, or carry some clips or bobby pins with you at all time. just keep that in mind.

you could also try getting layers and getting the front of your hair angle up towards your face. this will make you hair more interesting down, but also will be easier to put up.
I suggest you talk with your troupe leader and find out more details. Maybe they have a pictures of past performers that can help you find a hairstyle that doesn't interfere with your competition.

If anything keep your bangs long enough that you can comb them over to allow you to have a part in your hair and pin them up so that they are uniform with everyone else.

Also tell your hair stylist that what you need for competition, they might know how to help you.
don't do it unless u want to put gel in ur hair every time u go to ballet
you'll have to gel your hair alot... get side bangs if you really want to it's ultimately up to you though
go for it! i did and i'm in the same sitiuation, and it works fine!for class i'll usually put in a headband and a few clips and pins and put the rest in a bun, and it's easy as that! for competitions and performances, i need a few more clips and pins and a lil gel and hairspray, and i'm good to go!
