What Can Help You Improve Your Ballet Leap?

A regular Ballet Leap.

What Can Help You Improve Your Ballet Leap?concerts

1) You need to have a BIG run up. I don't mean actually 'running' but whatever preparation you are doing (Hop, chase, partabore etc) you need to really get down into the floor to give it the illusion that your going further up.

2) Try and do the splits before you do do it, it really helps me, because thats what your trying to do when you do the leap; doing a split.

3) And just to remember all of your regular ballet posture and technique. And remember to keep those stomach muscles tight, because that helps as well!

Good Luck with it :) %26amp; Hope this helps!

get way off of the floor before the leap. like do a huge, verticle glisade first and use your toes to push off the floor. also use your plie to get up. pull back your shoulders too. good luck!%26lt;3
try strapping weights to your ankles, so when you go to leap, you have to work harder to get your legs up, and keep doing leaps like this. Then after a couple of weeks doing that your legs will be stronger and when you do them without the weights, your leaps will be better and higher!
