What do i wear to a ballet?

I'm planning to go to a ballet and i don't know what to wear? how fancy do i have to wear? if i wore a dress would it be sleeveless? i'm planning to go during 1st or 2nd week of february and i think it will be pretty chilly then. I"m going to romeo and juliet
