I am in a teen beg ballet class now, next year should i be able to take an acutual level at my abilt

I have been taking a teen beg class for a little while now. i am good at it, i practice at home, i am the most flexible one in the class(well besides the teacher, duh). I want to start in an acutual level next year, i think that the level i would be in i would be with girl maybe 2 years younger than me, i am 15.

so my question is:

how should i ask my teacher what level i can do/ can i be in an acutual level 3 or so times a week next year?

and should i be able to do this, be in a level with girls who have been doing it longer but i am at pretty much tthe same level even though right now i only take it once a week?

one more question:

my parents think 3 classes a week is alot, even though it isnt. how can i convince them to let me take this ballet?

just ask your teacher! tell her that your really enjoying the classes and would like to continue your dancing a lot further next year. a thing that might help you out is to work extra hard IN class, that way your teacher really notices your talent.

as for convincing your parents just let them know that this is something your willing to dedicate your time to, and something you really are coming to find you have a passion for. good luck : )

if i were u, dont go from 1 time a week to 3- that normally doesnt go well with parents- slowly ask and hint that u'd like to try 2ce a week. If that works, prove to them that u are ready and responsible enought to do 3 times a week n keep up with chores and school
you will probably be in a ballet 1 next year. flexibility is not everything. you need to have good technique , balance, beauty or dancing, smile......

you will probably be moving up every year only 1 level, if it is easy for you, try to do110% and look better than the other girls. if you r more flexible, that does not mean your better. get to be the best!

3 classes is allot maybe for a parent, and if she cant do it, maybe your not supposed to, maybe it is not your life walk God has planned for you. but if you can you could get a ride from someone in the class or walk. or you could get a car or get a job and pay for the lessons and then your mom might give into it more. when your old enough get a job, pay for lessons, and your parents might pay for the car stuff. some people let you have a job at 15. hope i helped. you sound like u go to temecula dance co. do u? r u Amy wiggin? and i have the same problem you do. me and my sister take 3 dance class(tap, jazz and ballet) i might have to quit 1 next year( I'm sad)
convince by proving to them tt even 3 times a week wont affect ur studies..i believe wif the passion for dance nothing is impossible...no one can stop u from doin wad u wna do :)

It is up to your teacher. Remember, you are a beginner. Yuor teacher is the expert. You may think you are pretty good, but you may really not be to your teacher.
