What do you need to do ballet?greek theater

You'll need one small bag similar to a gym or sports bag to carry your things to and from class.

Hair (you'll need a huge supply of these items):

-Lots of bobby-pins

-Hair net that matches the color of your hair to go around your bun

-Hairspray

-scrunchies/hair ties

Clothes (get at least 2 pairs of everything on this list):

-Leotard (generally black, ask your teacher/studio)

-Tights (generally pink or white, again, ask your teacher)

-If you are allowed, you might want a little ballet skirt, too (don't confuse this with a tutu)

-Ballet slippers (as your teacher if she prefers a certain style/brand, NOT pointe shoes)

-Sweat pants/shirt to wear to get to class and after (get form fitting ones, like yoga pants)

-Leg warmers if permitted by teacher (any color)

Other:

-Positive attitude

-Smile

-Listening ears

-Determination

-Passion

Good luck and have fun in ballet!

What do you need to do ballet?performing arts show opera theaterBlondie, leotards are usually $20 to $25 dollars. If you get convertable tights, they are about $20, footed are about $15. Dance bags are about $10 to $15, legwarmers are around $10, and shoes (depending on the brand) are about $15 to $30. Report It

All the hair accessories can be found at drugstores for a total of about 7 or 8 dollars. All the clothes and shoes can either be bought at online dance stores like discountdance.com, but I'd recommend finding a local dance shop. Report It

Good luck! I would have emailed you but it's being weird right now. :) Report It

leotard, dancing tights, ballet slippers - not pointe, that is advanced - and probably leg warmers because they are nice to have.
Surpisingly little.Leotards,tights%26amp;at least two good pairs of shoes.Asweater, some leg-warmers%26amp;you're all set!
black leotard, pink tights (convertible are best), a good pair of pink ballet shoes (split sole). you should wear your hair in a bun with no frizzes, check with your studio, many of them have dress code regarding ballet.
Ballet shoes, tights( make sure to buy several because they rip easily ), Leotard , and if your ballet class uses a ballet skirt. Good Luck!
Ballet Slippers, Leotard, and tights(optional sometimes) and a ballet teacher........
you need:

leotard of any color

ballet shoes(more than 1 case they get kinda dirty and rip it they are the cloth ones)

Pink or nude color tights(make sure they aren't tight)

something to keep your hair up in a bun

love for ballet...LOL!!!

also some leg warmers...there AWESOME!!!

OH yeah...you might not want to wear the PLAIN leotard so you can get some dance pants to wear over your leotard and tights...just so you wont be self-conscious about the leotard
